    The purpose of this study was to investigate the power resources of camp counselor. The subjects were 49 (26 boys and 23 girls) campers in the fifth to twelfth grade. The questionaire containing 36 items was used to measure counselor's Dower by ratinu in 5-noint scales.<BR>The results were summarized as follows:<BR>1) Five power resources were obtained acceptance, legitimacy, expert-reference, physical appearance and oppression.<BR>2) Campers strongly perceived acceptance, legitimacy and expert-reference while physical appearance was moderate and oppression was weakest.<BR>3) Appearance and oppression became to be perceived weak and expert-reference was became strongly through the camp activities and relationships with the counselors.<BR>4) Campers strongly perceived the female counselor's acceptance and expert-reference more than male counselor in first day, but its difference was closer through camp activities. Physical appearance was always perceived strongly for female counselor.

    The purpose of this study was to clarify the difference of two winter outdoor activities (snowcamping andskiing) and ordinary physical education class about class evaluations and social power of instructors. Examination was extended to the relationships between the class evaluations and social power of instructors. Thesubjects were first-year junior college students, 51 (11 male, 40 female) students in the snowcamping practice, 46 (15 male, 31 female) students in the ski practice and 63 students in the ordinary class. All subjectsanswered the class evaluations questionaire on 9 items and the Perceived Social Power Scale (PSPS) on 24items in seven methods on the last day of each practice. The main results were as the following.<BR>1. The evaluation in the making of a new friend was high in the snowcamping and the evaluation in case ofacquisition of the technique was high in the ski practice. Also, the evaluations were deepening the friendship and the radiation of the stress high in both practices.<BR>2. The social power of the instructors at the snowcamping was strong in the power resources such as rewardpower, liking power, expert power, referent power compared with the instructor in the ski practice. A characteristic of the snowcamping was what the influence of the referent power of instructor is strong. And acharacteristic of the skiing was what the influence of the legitimate power of instructor is strong.<BR>3. At snowcamping practice, the class Evaluations were seem to relate to reward, liking, referent, expertpower. Especially, it was conspicuous in the point, the acquisition of the knowledge and the pleasure, keeping the health and the radiation of the stress.

    The Conservation biology has been developing since 1980s. Conservation education focused to conserve biodiversity, educational parts of conservation biology. As Satoyama has high biodiversity and rich in relationship between people and nature, Satoyama is adequate to conservation education.
    In this study, we investigated outdoor-education, nature conservation, and restoration of abandoned paddy field in Kurokawa, where university farm would be planned. Kurokawa is one of hotspot in Kanagawa Prefecture and Yato landscape is left there.
    Though we aimed to create conservation education program for university student at first, our students has fun to work in order to study Satoyama's biodiversity. The students took interest in Satoyame, because in the students leader and charge were selected for Kurokawa Yato Project Kurokawa Yato Project has been held every month, and nearly all student of our laboratory joined this Project
    As Satoyama has great power for study conservation education, there were necessary no special program to study it.
    It was remarkable that farmers who have full knowledge of relationship between people and nature and that coordinator who connect students and farmers.

    The purpose of this research was to evaluate the outcomes of an outdoor experiential therapy program on adolescents with mental problems (truancy, emotional and behavioral disorders, etc.). A qualitative case study approach and a quantitative questionnaire survey were used to examine the program. The case study explored the individual meaning of psychosocial and physical impacts on each adolescent in the program. There were some cases that showed improved relationships: between the worlds of social environment and self, between mother and child, between self and self. In terms of physical development, there were some cases where the students recognized improvements in their physical strength or skills in outdoor activities, which in turn affected their self-esteem. The adolescents experienced various psychological tasks during the program and coped with them. These experiences were recognized as ''individuation processes''. A questionnaire survey on self-concept also showed the same results. Test scores of self-concept showed a significant increase in total score, achievement motive, effort, self-confidence and self-acceptance between pre-test (before the program) and post-test I (immediately after the program). There were no significant differences between pre-test and post-test II (one month after the program). The results revealed some differences from other studies. Some factors unique to this program are suggested.
