    <p>This paper aims to examine the applicability of "Extra drainage systems" which can complement conventional drainage system. Firstly, the authors asked participants about the difficulty using conventional drainage system and the idea using extra drainage systems. Then, the authors classified collected cases into 19 categories of drainage problems. After that, the authors got the evaluation of applicability of extra drainage systems to solve the problems by technical experts of those systems. The result showed those systems are effective to solve 16 categories of problems. Therefore, it is confirmed that extra drainage systems are useful to solve current problems of drainage.</p>

    The current drainage system is a gravity drainage system with a partially filled pipe flow. Furthermore, the drainage slopes and pipe diameters of horizontal drainage pipes are determined according to the flow rates. Therefore, the conveying performance is poor, and the piping flexibility is low. On the other hand, a siphonic drainage system is a gravity drainage system with a fully filled pipe flow using small diameter pipes. This system generates a siphon using the fully filled drainage flow. Therefore, it is not always necessary to provide piping slopes, and the conveying performance is strong, allowing for free design. In this study, we studied a siphonic drainage system to be applied to indoor gray water drainage systems. As the first report, we classified the basic structures and clarified the flow characteristics using full-scale experimental equipment.

    SHASE-S218_<-2008> (Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Sanitary Standard) stipulates that the evaluated drainage system performance should fall within ±400 Pa. However, the vibration and loss of trap seal water should be regarded as vibration reply phenomena, which are produced by pressure forces in the pipe, and the standard value is not necessarily optimal. Therefore we built a stack vent drainage system in a full-scale drainage experiment tower to carry out an experiment under a constant discharge load. We analyzed the relationship between vibrations from the pipe pressure and seal for three types of test traps and classified the pressure vibration waveform into three categories: pulse wave, resonance wave, and standing wave. We then clarified the influences that each type of pressure vibration exerted on the seal vibration.

    <p>洗濯排水が直接排管に接続されていない住戸では、ジャバラホースを使用して、浴室を介して排水を行っている。これは利便性などの面において改善要望が多い。しかし、従来より用いられている重力式排水システムを導入するにあたっては、実現が難しいので、無勾配配管および跨ぎ配管にも対応が可能な、サイホン排水システムの適用が期待されている。本研究では、サイホン排水システムを洗濯機排水に適用することを目的とした排水実験を行い、流れ特性の検討を行った。</p>

    This study aimed to accumulate the basic data concerned about the design of the siphonic drainage system. We carried out the verification experiments about the flow characteristic in the following circumstances in the cases that the convex rising elbow pipe was connected to the outlet part of the horizontal drain pipe or it wasn't connected. And in addition, we also examined on experiment about the effectiveness of the formula derived from the Bernoulli's equation to calculate the pressure in the pipes when the siphon effect has been started.

To know how washbasin trap's water seal are affected by self-siphonage, we discharged water by filled flow and observed the state of water seal.     In the previous report, we studied the discharge characteristics of foundational siphon drainage system which didn't have a trap or cross piping. In this paper, we recreated siphon drainage systems in previous paper (Part4) using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). And these conclusions were compared to the characteristics of filled flow in previous paper. Consequently, we confirmed the validity of CFD analysis, and studied the characteristic of filled flow in various piping.

    A siphon drainage system using slim pipes is a slopeless drainage system unlike gravity drainage systems. Therefore they may be settled cross piping problems. Consequently, in this paper, we studied on basic values, which influences of pipe bendings and bendings in a row, of sighon pipes with siphon drainage systems. In addition, using actual-size drainage experimental apparatus in laboratory, fixture drainage characteristics of siphon drainage system in apaliment houses were reseached And these conclusions were compared to SHASE-S206.

    A Siphon drainage system is the full-water flow drainage system using small diameter pipes. Because this system needs not necessarily a down slope, it has the potentiality to extend the choice of a building design. And in addition, due to the full-water flow,this system makes it easy to take solid refuses especially in disposer drainage. So, in this paper, in order to put this system to practical use, discharge characteristics and drainage performances of this system for disposers in apartment houses were examined.

    In this paper, we studied on a new test method of trap performance using Simple Testing Devises. This method use pressure waves which are compounded three sine waves into. To know the effectiveness of the method, we experimented with tests with the use of single sine waves.     非住宅のトイレ空間において、水環境及び空気環境を衛生的かつ良好に保つための給排水衛生設備、換気・空調設備の計画・維持管理に関するガイドラインを提案することを目的とする。特に①大便器・小便器の飛沫等の抑制方法、②洗面器等に設置する節水形水栓による手指洗い手法と除菌効果、②節水形大便器の排水横管での汚物の円滑な搬送排除、③温熱環境、省エネに配慮した熱環境計画、④排水通気設備(排水トラップ)からの感染防止について、水環境・空気・熱環境を考慮し総合的視点から検討した。
    本年度の研究実績の概要は以下のとおりである。(1)トイレ空間における感染症防止等の衛生性・安全性確保の留意点を、水・空気環境に加えて温熱環境と省エネ配慮の視点から既往文献を調査し研究目的を明らかにした。(2)衛生器具に関して、主に大便器における糞口感染のリスク回避を目的に洗浄時の飛沫拡散の影響を定量的に把握し解析した。(3)接触感染回避を目的とした手指洗いの除菌効果を、各種節水形水栓を用いて被験者実験を行い、建築設備的な視点も加え明らかにした。(4)排水通気系統からのウイルス等の侵入防止のため、排水横管内での汚物等の停滞と詰まりによるトラブル防止に向けた搬送性能のシミュレーション手法を検討した。また、ウイルスの室内への侵入防止のためトラップの破封現象(蒸発現象等)の解明を目的に、外界条件変化に伴う蒸発量の実測等を行った。(5)トイレブース内における汚染拡散の状況をCFD解析により明らかにし、換気口の位置の違いなどによる汚染物質の滞留状況の差異などを推定した。(6)災害時に避難所となる学校トイレ空間での温熱環境の実測調査を行い、温冷感と省エネ性について基礎的データの収集を行った。
