    In this study, we focused on the influence of indoor thermal comfort on the mere exposure effect while manipulating the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV). We used neutral random shapes as the stimuli and controlled exposure frequency (0, 1, 5, 10, and 15 times) and PMV (+2=hot,+1=warm,0,-1=cool -2=cold). After the acclimation phase, participants were exposed to each stimulus, and 5 min later, were asked to rate preference, familiarity, novelty, and thermal comfort using a 7-point scale as well as recognition of old and new items. The result showed that, only in a slightly warmer environment, the mere exposure effect occurred definitely. As the number of stimulus presentations increased, the preference for the stimuli did not increased so much during the cold and normal environment condition and showed unstable tendency during the hottest background condition. These results suggested the importance of the control of thermal environment treated as an external noise.

    This research was carried out to develop a method to lead appropriate default values to implement a building performance modeling at an early stage of building design. The definition of the default values was discussed first. Then, the method to create the values was proposed. Some case studies were conducted to check the validity in the real building design. Additionally, databases of variable default values for sustainable building designs, e.g. window to wall ration for daylighting design and target air change rate for natural ventilation design, were created.

    In this research, we have developed a multi-scale / multi-physics high resolution climate information prediction platform. The results during the research period are as follows. (1) Urban parameters were arranged using GIS as a boundary condition of the platform. (2) We carried out the atmospheric observation and made the model of the wind profile necessary for the urban design. (3) Database of turbulence statistics under various temperature stratification for high density urban area by LES was created. (4) We examined inflow turbulence generation method in LES from coarse-grained turbulence statistics. (5) In the meso-scale meteorology, we evaluated the diffusion behavior in urban areas and clarified the mechanism of the local heavy rainfall. (6) Dynamic down-scale method for connecting global climate model to meso-scale model for building heat load was established. (7) We investigated the atmospheric environment of high density urban area with high resolution by moving measurement.

    Methods to evaluate risk of health hazards by hazardous substances is developed in a cross sectional way from human scale to landscape scale. Air mixing promotion of turbulence condition which is one of characteristics in flow field is focused. Slipstream changes turbulent transition by exfoliation on the moving bluff body boundary in a steady condition. Relational expression to evaluate a turbulence field is developed from the viewpoint of assuming that bluff body virtual work rate equals to energy converted.

    The purpose of this study is to develop a prototype of "normal pressure adsorption refrigeration cycle with desiccant air-conditioning systems for household cogeneration utilization".
    In small household desiccant outside control system which is driven by two batch as solar thermal, etc. or a heat source of waste heat of the fuel cell water-air heat exchanger that was attached coating the adsorbent, this study in dry air at normal pressure obtained to develop a prototype system for the home to create a cold water spray with water, air-conditioning ventilation by the desiccant out of control and radiation cooling and heating with hot and cold water.

    Indoor air climate has a three-dimensional spatial distribution. However control of air-conditioning systems are usually directed by signals from limited sensors. Thus air-conditioning systems can maintain only the indoor climate at the sensor locations. Against these backgrounds, we developed an air-conditioning control system which can automatically maintain the spatial thermal distribution formed in the room. We use contribution ratio of indoor climate to predict the three-dimensional spatial distribution.

    一般的にマイクロ波の加熱殺菌はよく知られているが、室内環境または設備を対象としても使用可能な非加熱殺菌に関して述べている事例が少ない。本研究では建築衛生上有害真菌をマイクロ波で殺菌する技術を開発する目的で基礎実験を行った。建物の空調設備は建築衛生上重要な役割を担当しているが、環境微生物(真菌や細菌)による汚染の恐れが高い。基礎実験として市販の電子レンジと同じ周波数(2.45GHz)のマイクロ波が照射できる空調ダクトモデルを作り、マイクロ波照射によるダクトの温度測定及び真菌を用いた予備実験を行った。過熱に関してはマイクロ波の出力及び照射時間によってダクトの表面温度が20℃以上上昇するが、空調機を稼働している間には2℃程度の上昇しか観察されなかった。カビセンサー(クロカビ及びスズカビの胞子を用いたセンサー)を対象とした実験では800Wで30分間照射しても殺菌効果が確認できなかった。別途に市販の電子レンジ及び細菌(Bacillus Subtilis)を用いた予備実験からマイクロ波の出力及び照射時間による殺菌効果を検証した。乾燥状態より湿潤状態での殺菌効果が高いが、表面温度も上がった。
    真菌を対象としたマイクロ波の殺菌効果はマイクロ波の照射量にもよるが、高温の状態ではない限り細菌より困難である検証された。湿潤状態であると温度の上昇に従って殺菌の可能性が考えられるが、建築衛生環境では温度上昇に注意する必要がある。
    建築衛生上マイクロ波の殺菌技術の適用には安全かつ建材や設備に影響がないように注意する必要がある。マイクロ波の加熱効果を精密に調整しながら真菌の殺菌技術として活用することが期待される。

    建築室内環境を最適化するための実用的な計算プログラムの開発
    空間の3次元空間分を考慮する必要がある解析には,換気回路網解析といったマクロモデルの適応性が低く,3次元CFD解析を用いたミクロな解析が必要となる。しかしながら,マクロモデルと比較し,計算コストは非常に高く,建物内環境の年間性能評価や設計における最適解探索プロセス等の多数ケースの計算が必要とされる検討において,計算コストの大きな3次元CFD解析をそのまま用いることは現実的ではない。
    本研究では,この課題を解決する計算プログラムの基盤技術を開発した。このシミュレーション技術はまず流れ場とその流れ場に依存する熱・物質の移流・拡散現象をCED解析や実験により指標化し,速度場を除いて,他の線形に取り扱える要素は,この指標を用いて解析する。ただし,この指標はマクロモデルに組み込む事を想定し,マクロモデルにおける節点間の空気輸送性状を示す設計定数を修正し,マクロモデルにおける空間間の気流シミュレーションの精度を上げると同時に,空調制御時の作動応答や緊急時における比較的短い時間間隔の時系列変動の評価を必要とする解析に対応したものとなる。
    この基盤技術を応用したシミュレーション技術は,室内の温度分布を考慮して局所換気による熱負荷削減の効果を見込む空調設計や,風の持つ運動エネルギーにより換気量を増進する通風設計等,完全混合モデルでは解析が困難な高度な環境設計における温熱環境快適性やエネルギー消費量削減効果を,従来の回路網解析と同等の解析コストで解析することを可能とするものとなる。
